                       Dive Siren Instructions

This variant now includes a siren enhancement of the so called "Jericho
Trumpet" that was a small cylinder with a propellor projecting ahead of
the port side undercarriage leg. This fairing was seen and heard as the
Slipstream-driven Dive-bombing sound which was used mainly during The
Battle of France and eventually phased out after The Battle of Britain.

Upon snap-installing the flyable Stuka will now include this enhancement
that has always been missing with EAW and can be manually operated by the
player in exchange of the actual function where as it would have normally
been wind driven. Although the sound file for wind is available it's not
controllable. Instead a more practical means has been manipulated to allow
this sound effect option to be applied as further described.

As a result of opening a silent gun group within the AircraftEditor the
single Stuka "siren" file has been re-assigned to the unused 30mm cannon
(an unlikely caliber that would have not been normally available during
earlier campaigns). Therefore the new siren sound has been subplanted
over the 30mm default sound file. This allows it now to be selectable the
same way as you cycle through each gun group. You may operate this sound
device with or without firing your guns but must remain depressing your
keyboard key or joystick button that your machine guns were assigned to
while simultaneiously holding that keystroke as you begin diving in order
to simulate this added immersion.

Remember to delete this file snd.0028 if installed within any copys other
than your BOB, BOF, DAW directories in order to avoid the siren overlays
where 30mm guns will normally begin to appear in later campaigns.
